Walter Thomas DT 6'5 375 out of NW Miss CC Check him out. Would make a nice back up to Casey. He is a Beast!

All the size sounds good but I just dont think that a DT that tall is a good fit for the Steelers style of DT... most all of the former Steelers great DT's are shorter .. like 6' 1" or 6' 2".. not that 6' 5".
Not to say that they can change that up, but it would be going against the Steelers usuall at that position.

Hmm, I have to agree that he is a little tall for our system, but with his size and possible talent I think we should give it a shot.

For those who would like to get a visual impression of the guy.

As a means of getting an idea of his size relative to other players - the guy he's next to here is 6'3" and 310lbs.

Phaha, I guess if we get him we'll have to change numbers. But the more and more I think about it the more I think this is unlikely. But I guess we'll see...

If we do draft him, I read in nfldraftcountdown he has "character issues", if it's true we don't need that on our team.

True, but this guy is also 50 pounds more than them.

that is one big dude. i think he is def worth a look towards the end of the draft. can you imagine him and hampton stacked next to each other on goal line situations! one one would be able to run up the middle

what nfldraftcountown.com is refering to when they say this guy has character issues was that he failed out of college during his freshman year. He transfered to a community college and because of his size and agility (the man can do backflips!! I seen the picture) his agent got him a spot in a college all star game where he played well and got noticed by the NFL. He is very intriguing, maybe worth a 7th round pick.

Looks like more of a candidate for the hot dog eating contest to me. But then again, WTF do I know. The draft is a crap shoot at best.
