I am probally going to the season opener at Cleveland,I was wondering if anyone else was planning on going?

If so,and you want to tailgate, the best place is the Munincipal Parking Lot (aka Muny Lot).

It's where almost all of the Clowns fans tailgate and it pissed them off when we invade it.

If you decide to park and/or tailgate there, don't bring your small children unless you want them exposed to vulgar remarks and chants of "@$$h0le".Also be prepared to have Clowns fans trying to take your Terrible Towel and throw dog bone buiscuts at you (those damn things hurt when they get you in the head).

I stand 5'6" and anywhere from 175-190 lbs in flip flops...not very intimidating...but last year some Clowns fan tried to take my Terrible Towel...and I threw that focker down the steps.

We need to get the word out to all the tailgators that will be at this game to tailgate in the munincipal parking lot off of east south marginal road.

Just one huge Steeler tailgate in Cleveland.

Last time I went to Cleveland for a game we blasted them 41-0. That was fun.

I don't care care how badly they suck, beating the Browns is always fun.

I second that.

Especially when you LIVE in Cleveland.

Well,it's looking like unless somebody wants to donate a Steelers fan (that being me) a ticket to the game...I will not be going.

However,if we can get a tailgate going,I will probally pay the parking fee just for that and then maybe catch the game in a bar downtown.

I already posted a thread about this, but since some people seem interested I'll post it again. I am organizing a bus trip to Cleveland for the game. We have 130 tickets together in the first ten rows of sections 524 and 525. The plan is to take 2 buses and tailgate before the game. The tailgate party will include beer, steak, chicken breast, hot sausage, burgers, hot dogs, and more. The cost is $249 and includes round-trip transportation from Pittsburgh, the tailgate party, and a ticket to the game. If anybody is interested I can give you a coupon code for 10% off. If anybody has any questions you can email me at rich@steelcitycharters.com or check out the website.... steelcitycharters.com/Event_Information090907.html

On event days it's normally around $20 to park.

If you park in the Munincipal Parking Lot,prepare to be messed with, yelled at,have stuff thrown at you,and have people attempt to soak you with whatever they are drinking.

I will not be going to the game it looks like, but I plan on coming down to tailgate and possibly watching the game at a bar.

Thanks for the info. As far as the brown fans messing with us i would want it any other way it will make the walk back to the car after we win a bit sweeter.

They vary between $10-$20 depending on where you park. Have fun at Cleveland Browns Stadium and don't party too hard. Well, on second thought, maybe you should. It'll ease the pain a little when the Steelers fall to the Browns....

Here's to a good injury-free game!!!!

I got tickets! Can't wait. I'm going to park in Shaker and take the Rapid down to the stadium. We will probably go to a few bars downtown before the game. Muni lot is crazy, especially with it being the first game. I took my 7 yr old son last year, and he got called a "little *******" while walking through Muni A lot.

Any reports from the game? How was it at the stadium?
