Coca-Cola, not even close, although I can drink Pepsi in a pinch. I can also understand why Dr. Pepper is named the way it is - that stuff tastes like medicine. :yuck:

I'm a pepsi man (not as foamy as coke) unless I'm having rum, then I'll take coke. I also like an IBC root beer and a Cherokee Red from time to time.

Pepsi man punches out Coke man during delivery
Friday, October 12, 2007
By Torsten Ove, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Pepsi has been trying to best Coke for years in the world-wide cola war, but Pepsi seems to have landed a blow in a hinterlands skirmish recently at a Wal-Mart in Indiana County.

An employee from each company was delivering products to the Wal-Mart on Oakland Avenue in White Township on Monday morning and "apparently bickering back and forth" as they worked, state police said. It's not clear exactly what the bickering was about, but as the Coke employee left the store, the Pepsi guy called him over to the side of the Wal-Mart.

There, police said, he "punched the victim three times in the face," breaking his nose and giving him a black eye.

Police did not identify the Pepsi man except to say he is a "known suspect." Troopers didn't say if charges have been filed, although they characterized the incident as a simple assault, a misdemeanor.

The Coke man, Robert Koscho, 48, of Ebensburg, said Coke told him he wasn't allowed to talk about the case.

Oh. Wrong beverage war.

That article completely cracked me up this morning (and many in my New Jersey office, since I passed it around for all to read).

For the record, I'm a Diet Coke person, and unfortunately I drink way too much of it. I think Diet Pepsi tastes like a completely different thing, and I can't stand it (except for Diet Pepsi Jazz in the Cherry/Vanilla flavor - it's actually pretty good). That Black Cherry Vanilla Diet Coke is the best ever. I hope they don't quit making it; I really liked Diet Vanilla Coke too, and they promptly discontinued it.

Had an old truck when I was much younger, and it had corrosion on the battery. So I just poured a can of Coke on it and it really did a great job of cleaning off the battery acid corrosion! And I thought the it was all bull.

That said, I don't put that stuff into my system at all, and haven't for over 23 years. But, if I did, I would have to go with Mountain Dew!! I can remember how good the sugar rush was! And, my #2 was Pepsi for my Bacardi, because I wanted to be different than the standard "Bacardi & Coke".

Oh man I love Dr. Pepper. But I guess you're right it does sort of have a medicine taste to it.

I didn't get to vote but I'm typically a Coke product man but occassionally, I go for the RC just for old time sake.

I remember the old tall lanky bottles! I think my grammie still has some in the storage area of her country store.

For me, PEPSI products are definitely the BEST. But we have only Coke factory here in Mongolia, and the Pepsi stuff kind of little expensive because they come from Russia and the US.
