Danica Patrick is the most overrated human being on the planet.

With that being said, Pennsylvanian Roger Penske owns the cars that sit on both polls for Sunday's races.

In a perfect world, Danica would take over the #8 ride from Jr next year...I'd pay to see that.

She'd have a lot of free time, what with not making races and all because she sucks.

holy crap! dodges sitting 1-3 at the Jimmie Johnson 600??? :jawdrop: and only 2 chevys in the top 10?!?!?!? i expect a nascar imposed sanction (say maybe add a wicker bill to the dodges) to "level" the playing field before the drop of the green flag.

does this mean we gotta listen to all the chevy drivers bitch and moan how they are at a disadvantage? if dale sr. were alive im sure we woulda already heard how bill france sr. was "rolling over in his grave" by now.

She'd have a lot of free time, what with not making races and all because she sucks.actually the IRL as a whole sucks, so id say she is average in her little niche. shes cute and has done good for the sport as far as bringing attention. so im not gonna hate on her.

anyways is evernham still boning erin crocker? she sure fell off the map as soon as that little story broke.

sidenote: isnt it odd how penske can dominate the indy 500 but cant even win a restrictor plate race?

I heard that they were seen together at a race a few weeks back. I bet his wife is taking him to the cleaners in their divorce

Roger is one of two native Pennsylvanians who own Nextel Cup teams, so he has all my support.

On a side note, Ryan's lead engineer on the 12 teams is a Pittsburgh native by the name of Travis Geisler.

It's over....as is her ride.

i didnt know that about ryans engineer. while i initially picked team penske to root for because of the black n gold #2 (sponsored by my favorite beer as a teen) it didnt hurt that new mexicos finest driver, little al, was also an employee. i never thought i would become a kurt busch apologist, but team penske and the blue duce get all my support also.

i still cant figure out how matt borland went from great to awful so quick.

ummm. thats black n yellow :sofunny: but yes, i have always been partial to the dewalt ford and its awesome paint job, not only because of the great driver, but i liked being able to follow the same car from busch all the way to cup. him and jr's friendly rivaly was the best thing to happen to busch in years.

unfortunately the best looking car ever was wrecked by the drivers brother last weekend. i always liked dw's chrome 17 or kenseths copper and marlins silver bullet, but nothing will ever top the solid gold duce. it was even better than gordons 2 chromalusions.

btw, ive always been partial to the black cars (except #3) and that GLOCK sponsored car looks sharp.

glocks n chicks n beer n racing!
glocks n chicks n beer n racing!

sounds fun!

dario most likely finishes ahead of patrick. i went out on a limb.

the coolest feature in sports broadcasting is abc/espn splitting the screen during commercials so you can still see what happens (such as the caution for debris during the 1st break).

Boy, do I love fuel mileage endings....not. Gained some points with Jeffy crashing out, that's about it. Matt's car was really good for about 15 laps on fresh tires...after that, it was junk.

Oh well, most of the top 10 was a 'who's who' of guys racing with nothing to lose.

Indy sucked...cautions and rain....cautions and rain...how exciting.

I was wondering why everyone bags on Danica as a bad driver? Is it just because she's a chick? She paid her dues. She ran in all the open wheel leagues in Europe, all the same training grounds that the F-1 drivers ran at one time. She's still just a kid at 22. She finished 8th and was as high as 3rd at tis years Indy. If she sucks so bad, what about all the drivers that finish lower in the standings than her? What about the 25 drivers that finished worse than her Sunday?
