I am going to the Steelers - Pats game on Sept. 25th. . I recieved the tickets and hotel as part of a promotion from work. Usually when I go to Steelers games I stay at the Pittsburgh Hilton and just walk across the bridge (also I park there so I don't have to worry about that either). Well the Hotel I have to stay at as part of the promotion is the Fairfield Inn, Pittsburgh - Cranbury and I do not get parking a voucher to park in one of the lots as part of the promotion. I'm wondering If anyone can reccomend to me where to park (I know there is a few lots downtown) any particular ones reccomended.

you can park at the gateway center lot, to the right of the hilton. you can park on the corner of ft. duquesne blvd and stanwix st. those are close to the stadium.

Thank you for the info.
How hard is it to get into the downtown area on gameday?
How early before the game would you reccomend leaving the hotel for downtown?
Sorry for all the questions, thanks again for the help.

Traffic heading in on 376 is a complete nightmare on sundays before a game. It does flow fairly well but its still bumper to bumper so if you're headed into the city, allow yourself atleast an extra 2 hours just to be safe, in addition to however early you want to get there before kickoff. Thats what we always do and we're usually pretty safe.

Although if we're gonna really tailgate, hell we get there at 8am or for a night game we're there by 4 or 5pm !!

There's also the parking garage on Stanwix Street about a block away from the Hilton. There's a Max and Irma's Restaurant directly across the street from it.

Station Square parking and take the Gateway Clipper over to the game. Awesome for night games.

I think this is the best idea. It's like 5 bucks to park and 3 bucks for the boat ride. The only thing that sucks is if your a heavy drinker... you will be hurling over one of the rails on the return trip. Good luck

See if the hotel has a shuttle. I go to draft day in the burgh every year, and there are hotel shuttles running all over the place, even to the stadium in the offseason...just tip the dude a buck or two...

Another tip...there is all kinds of free parking available along the roads in the Northside. There is a park just above the Clark Building in the main parking lots that has free parking along it's roads. I see people pulling into $25 lots right near there when they could have pulled up to a curb and parked for free. In ten years I have never paid for parking this way and the Clark bar is about a 5 minute walk away. 15 minute walk to the Heinz Field....

Just get there abour 3-4 hours before game time and hang out at the Clark Bar or tailgate...

When you stayed at the Hilton did you get any autographs from players?

No I didn't. I did get to see a bunch of them walking in though.
When they were coming in we were just getting back from dinner and we had nothing for them to sign.
