Yeah I just reading that after I posted up that article on the homepage. I remember a time when Marvel was labled as a possible bust, and look at him now !! An outstanding LT, and pro bowl bound if he continues on his current path of domination!

He seams like such a quiet guy. I would have never expected that life story. He's a true pro and is motivated. Think about it, he's already had his big pay day and he's still working at his game by staying after practice etc. kudos to Marvel :cheers:

damn that is a good story, i have more respect him a whole lot more now, mayne if i had parents like that i'd have to knock someone out, how the hell you going to tell your child you ain't going to be anything? i wouldn't be surprised if his parents are all on his nuts now that he has money and shit acting like they knew he was always going to be something

Either would I. It's a great example of the best and worst in people. I have so much respect for those who are able to do so much and still stay modest at the same time.
