In case you did not know the Ticket now requires that in order to see games in hi-def you have to get the super fan package. This weeks games will be in hi def but after that its all over. I just found this out. But if you call and bitch they will give you the package for free this season. Go Steelers!

This is part of the reason I haven't made the switch yet...I bought a 36" TV back in '97 and said I would upgrade to a widescreen HD when they made everyone switch to that format (and back then they were predicting 2001 to be the year)...it's 2005 and they STILL haven't made the conversion. I'm still happy with my TV, and the prices keep falling...pretty soon I'll be able to buy a 50" plasma flatscreen for the same price I bought my 36" regular TV for...

Dude...I am a videoaholic and I can tell you that plasma is not worth the money....You can get much more quality TV for your money...Look into RPTV's with DLP, they are getting cheaper and cheaper and if it ever goes bad you only have to replace arelatively inexpensive bulb.

Also, once you go High Def, you will never go back. Comcast offers all the networks, TNT, HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Discovery, ESPN, INHD, INHD2, ESPN2, PBS all in high def now with more and more being added all the time. Most prime time shows and special events are in HD. You definitly get your viewing worth.

Steelers rock in HDTV!!!

It is totally worth it.

ALso, if anyone is shopping for a TV, if you don't go HDef, your silly.
