Steelers sign draft pick Ryan McBean

The Steelers have signed rookie defensive end Ryan McBean to a three-year contract.

McBean, from Oklahoma State, was selected by the Steelers in the fourth round of the 2007 draft. He is 6-5, 285 pounds.

He is the third player signed from the 2007 draft. The club also has signed punter Daniel Sepulveda and offensive lineman Cameron Stephenson.

Ok another pick signed. Now we just have to get Lawrence signed.

I think Lawrence will be eager to get the deal done. He was already frustrated from not being able to physically participate in mini-camps. Prolonging a deal could frustrate him even more.

Hopefully none of the 5 unsigned are thinking hold out during camp.

Really hope no one does that, we could already have a veteran headache in the locker room, we don't need a rookie like that.

i think timmons will get signed soon and i really like the mcbean signing we really got a good deal on him he was the 3rd or 4th best DT in the draft

I am very fired up about Woodley. From what I've read (a while ago.) It sounded like he was humble & excited to play. I also think a decent value.

It would be great if McBean could contribute the way Keisel did when he was backing up Kimo.
