CLEVELAND -- A neighbor apparently angry about noisy fireworks shot three people to death early Thursday and wounded two others, police said.

Terrance Hough Jr., a 35-year-old off-duty firefighter, was arrested in connection with the shootings near his home shortly after midnight

The shooter was apparently upset about loud noise from fireworks at a house next door and opened fire, killing two men and a woman, all in their early- to mid-20s, Stacho said.

It's a sad state of affairs, regardless of what city you live in, when people can no longer be civil towards each other and instead of doing the right thing (i.e. going over and talking to them or calling the police to handle it), they lock and load!!!

Sky Lane Drive where this happened is a pretty quiet, middle class neighborhood. I've heard that the house where the kids were that got shot has a reputation for being loud. The other people at the party also knew that the shooter was a fireman, so they've probably had run-ins before. My guess is that there was lot of drinking on both sides, the guy got upset at fireworks after midnight and snapped. Sad.
