Congrats to Matt for the great finish, but, was it just me, or did TNT have about 5,000 commercials? I DVR the races and watch them about an hour after they start and catch up by fast forwarding through the commercials, but I don't believe I've ever been so busy on the remote. What happened to the coverage they had last week at Daytona?

Crappy 2nd again. Matt should have bumped that 20 outta the way and then blamed it on him.

BREAKING NEWS - ESPN's NASCAR NOW is planning a one-hour tribute show tomorrow night to honor the memory of Junior's power steering. 50 laps of coverage just wasn't enough....

I let Tivo record them too - then cut out the fluff....I think I heard them say this was TNT's last race this year?

i know espn is going to do the brickyard 400, but i dont know if its TNT's completely last race. i thought they were going to be switching back and forth between espn.

First win for that douchebag in 20 races. I was glad Matt finished so well - I watched some of the highlights today.

I was glad Gordon got into the Top 10! Shame about Jimmy's wreck but he'll be back in coming races.

i drive by arbys every day after work. im getting sick of being robbed of so many free curly fries, dammit! i gotta agree with the post race commentators. if youre racing one guy at the end matt kenseth is the cleanest driver out there (other than martin of course). thats what makes gordon pushing him last year even that much more despicable.

i hope kenseth wins his 2nd champ this year. class act all the way.

dodge might as well follow pontiacs suit and fold up shop and go away. maybe chevy will get the hint and go away. other than penske the dodges are pathetic and theyre not even in the top 12. atleast toyota has an excuse.

No offense, but what happened at Bristol last year? When Kenseth spun Gordon it was clean racing, but when the exact same thing happened in reverse (and I mean the EXACT same thing), it's dirty because it's Gordon? No dice.

Let me add what Gordon said at Michigan last year after he had a chance to run over Kenseth if he wanted to:

"This would have been a good makeup for what happened at Chicago and I wanted to prove I can pass clean and race clean because I like racing Matt," Gordon explained. "Two more laps and I might have had him. I hated that I got into him and spun him out at Chicago. I like to race guys hard for the win. It's much more rewarding to beat a guy racing and not by taking him out."

i dont recall kenseth fluffing his feathers and trying to instantaneously grow a set as gordon came to talk to him. incase you missed that part, i wasnt refering to what happened on the track.

racing deals happen on the track. gordon shoulda acted like the veteran he is. his antics towards someone who is looked at as one of the cleanest drivers was unbecoming...

and if you ask stewart, he woulda said gordon shouldnt have "checked up" in the 1st place

Fair enough, I guess, but that's a lot of mitigation and only just a little justification.
