In just a matter of days, Steelers fanatics will risk sunstroke and dehydration as they watch the 2007 Pittsburgh Steelers hit Chuck Noll Field at St. Vincent's College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. If you happen to be one of the crazy thousands like I am, here is some little known Steelers trivia to have fun with between the Oklahoma Drill (if they still do that) and the exciting hamstring stretches.

Question: In 2002 against the Atlanta Falcons, the dearly departed Plaxico Burress set the Steelers record for the most receiving yards in a regular season game. How many yards, and who won the game?
Answer: 253 yards, and no one won. You could look it up.

Question: Which Steelers running back holds the record for the most goldfish in his shoes?
Answer: John "Frenchy" Fuqua, with one goldfish per platform heel. Frenchy also held the Steelers single game rushing mark of 218 yards until Willie Parker broke it last season with 223. However, Willie has no goldfish.

Question: Chuck Noll was hired as the Steelers head coach in 1969. Who turned down the job before Chuck took the offer?
Answer: Joe Paterno. Just think-if Joe Pa had accepted, he'd still be the coach.

Question: What Hall of Fame quarterback was cut by the Steelers without playing as much as a single pre-season game?
Answer: Johnny Unitas. However, Johnny U. did start for the sandlot Bloomfield Colts and went on to become a legend with the Baltimore Colts. Colts to Colts...coincidence? I don't think so.

Question: The 1945 Steelers hold what ignominious NFL record?
Answer: They didn't score a single touchdown. Can this be possible? Someone please look this up on Wikipedia and change it.

Question: In 1970, the Chicago Bears lost a coin flip to the Steelers for the right to draft Terry Bradshaw, the number one pick. Who did the Bears take?
Answer: Interesting. Upon losing the coin flip, an unidentified Chicago sportswriter yelled out, "McKaskey [the Bears' GM], you bum, you can't even win a coin flip." The answer is, no one. The Bears traded the pick to the Packers and got three veterans in return, none of whom lasted more than two years. Bradshaw lasted 14.

Question: What team did the Steelers play in their last game at Forbes Field?
Answer: The Chicago Cubs. Just kidding. The Bengals.

Question: What is the seating capacity of Heinz Field?
Answer: 64,450.

Question: What is the drinking capacity of Heinz Field?
Answer: 64,450 x approximately 134,250 16-ounce beers...that's a lot.

Question: What will the Steelers record be in 2007?
Answer: Only Nostradamus knows for sure.
