View Full Version : MSU or ND?

Michigan State has a real winning record with ND. I think Michigan State has won the last 4 games on ND turf, please correct me if I am wrong. I was raised a Michigan State fan and because of my disdain for University of Michigan (that little school down the street), I am also an Ohio State fan. But when Michigan State and OSU meet, I am definitely a Spartan all the way.

Notre Dame and MSU have set the bar pretty high so far this season for themselves and if their first two games have been any indication of what we will see this weekend, then be prepared for a classic.

We Are Michigan State!~

Happy football weekend :)

I'm afraid to give a prediction, since it will certainly doom the poor team I predict to win...but I think ND is the real deal. Irish break the streak...

Im not quite sold on ND yet, but they looked pretty resilient and tough last week for sure!

Weis is running Urban Meyer's spread option...That in and of itself is probably enough to make the Gipper roll over in his grave...

While I have great confidence in Weis, its been the ND defense that has made the difference. I'll be very surprised if ND isn't for real.

Notre Dame down by 3TD's going into the third quarter comes back to tie it up 38-38 with two minutes left.

MSU wins yeah

Well it wasn't the ND defense this time. That was a great game. Smart of MSU to defend first in OT.

now that my friends was a football game.

It was definitely a classic! Those two schools have a history and a great respect for one another. In 1966 ND was #1 MSU was #2, we met at Spartan stadium to play for the championship.......Long story short the game was a 10-10 tie.

The game today went almost exactly like that game. The fact that ND bounced back today to achieve the 38-38 tie was a non issue. The Spartans did win the game so the ? of who really is the champion between those two teams has been put to rest with the Michigan State victory. :bouncy:

Good Job Michigan State. It was pretty cruel to let ND come back like that and then beat them in overtime, but it will be all the more sweeter in a few years when ND starts to dominate.

I'm still reeling about not getting to see the rally or overtime. I always miss the classics!
