The Pittsburgh Steelers are moving into the St. Vincent dormitories to prepare for another season of football.

As always, training camp will open up with the traditional run test on Monday afternoon -- but this year, there's a twist.

Under former coach Bill Cowher, players were required to run a series of 14 40-yard dashes outside in the heat.

But new head coach Mike Tomlin is changing it to 16 110-yard sprints -- covering the entire length of the football field and end zone. :jawdrop:

Anyone who attended at least 44 of Tomlin's 50 optional off-season workouts is exempt from running today.

Tell ya what boys you've had better been working out!!!!1

Come to voluntary camp... don't run the sprints...

Don't come... run the sprints.

How many people do you think will be there next year to the voluntary camps?

Dang this guy is smart.

I have a feeling he'll be known early on as a royal pain in the a** for his players, but he'll be remembered after he leaves the city as a coach the guys absolutely loved playing for, because he made them work the the peak of their potential.

One thing is already clear: slackers won't be around in black and gold very long.

Until he learns to be consistent when he plays, nothing will help him. Prediction: no new contract for Starks.

I remember the knock on Max when he came in. He was a monster physically, but not mean enough.

Could you imagine of Starks had the attitude of Willie Colon??
