these are when it started to get bad-

this is when it got bad. as you can see i was sitting on the floor, kind of under a table with the rest of the patrons, however, im not 1 to miss a photo op-

i was the 1st to come out of hiding. standing by a pane of glass isnt the smartest thing, but hell, you only live once-

Did any of the windows get shattered? It looked like the patio furniture kinda got tossed around there.

since all the bar employees were grabbing tables and chairs out of the foliage between the restraunt and river i walked down the steps seen in the patio pictures to see if i could find a souvenier that i could fit on the plane such as one of the many black and gold grille36 banners that hang on the front of the building. i found this metal patio table top right by the river. cooler heads prevailed when i decided not to try and take it home-

nice pic of the stadium. this downed tree was later reported on the evening news as it was screwing up traffic-

Did any of the windows get shattered? It looked like the patio furniture kinda got tossed around there.the only windows shattered were some panes at the science center right beside heinz field. appearantly a little girl was cut by flying glass. unfortunately the damage ruined our plans to go to the science center on friday as it was closed for repairs :banging:

the weather was not kind to me on the trip. our pirates game was canceled. experienced power outage all night to lightning strike. the millvale floods, and finally this at the restraunt. now i know why i live in the desert.

my buddy's brother works in the del monte building and he was telling us that the patio furniture from the bus's place was smashing into the windows of the del monte building. they declared the storm that hit sheraden and uptown a tornado. nice photos.

That was one nasty storm - I was in my doc's office when that hit, thank God. I'm so glad that you and your party weren't harmed - this board wouldn't be the same without you. :hug::cheers:

Those pictures were eerie - the eye of the storm hit downtown Pittsburgh - I was about 2 miles away in the South Side and it was pretty bad over there, so I can only imagine how bad it was over there.

YAY! (lol)....:smile: :cheer::cheer:
