in addition to john kuhn to green bay and capizzi to the browns-

anthony madison to tampa bay
cody boyd to washington
and (drumroll please).......walter young to arizona

some teams have been alot more active than others. steelers seem set and unfortunately had to release some players others find value in. heres a complete list of recent claims:

I saw where the Cardinals picked up another WR too. WTF, I thought they were overloaded with WR out there.

I suppose that is better than needing waiver wire pickups.

Surprised no one has claimed Verron or Okobithe 5 who were claimed most likely went to the 1st teams who called them for minimum salary. there was nothing to negotiate.

with verron and haynes, they will have options and their agents will have to hammer out the best deal possible for them.

They probably knew we had him on speed dial and are out to *@#% us!!

Seriously though, that my friends is why we have 5 quality DBs and 3 excellent Ss.

The whiz knows walter young.. and young will finally get a chance to be a starter. To bad it was not with the steelers. Walter Young has some of the sweetest hands.

Walter Young starting with the Cards? I think not...lol They only have two starting WRs by the names Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald.....Maybe you have heard of them?lol Plus they also have Bryant Johnson as their 3rd WR....Young won't get any serious playing with the Cards either....

If Walter Young was so great he wouldn't get cut year after year.....:sofunny: The guy is 28 now and has only been training camp fodder since being in the NFL.....lol

I fully expect Verron and Okobi to both land on an AFC North team roster. Both those guys are super intimately familiar with our playbook from now and before, and they'll be bitter, too.

I am somewhat surprised that they weren't picked up. I guess it just goes to show that no one else thought highly enough of them as well.

Great point. Okobi & Haynes can negotiate a price. The others are probably just thankful for a home.
