The Steelers share the lead with Dallas in the number of players claimed off waivers. Here's the list with where the player started and ended up. I think this is a good indicator of how deep we are at these positions. A little more evidence to this argument, Baltimore had 2 players picked up with Cincy and Cleveland having none. how could the steelers pass on cory lekkerkerker? :chuckle: (coolest name on the list)

i wonder why j. capizzi isnt making these lists. add him to m. barr, and okolbi and haynes (who will find a home soon) and we definitely prove that one teams trash is another teams treasure.

tony. I went back and read the column by Adam Schefter on NFL.com. This is just the Sunday activity. My guess is that Capizzi was picked up late Saturday. I'll keep looking to see if I can find a comprehensive list and post it later.

If big red didn't already have three good backs Haynes would be there too...

I think that Bahr not being signed is very suprising to me. He had a pretty darn good preseason to me. The Steelers drafted a punter in the 4th round and that is the final answer to why the Steelers released him in my opinion. I hope that Jon Kuhn has a great career with the Packers or wherever he goes, I just cant believe that someone in our AFC North didnt pick him up though. I also feel the same way about Verron Haynes, I loved the guy. He is a great player for what the Steelers used him to do for the past few years. DB Anthony Madison could stick in Tampa as well.

Okobi will end up in Cleveland, they need a backup center.
