From www.espn.com/nfl (http://www.espn.com/nfl).

In the top 100 NFL predicitons:

"
88:

Sorry, LT, LJ, Frank Gore (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=7241), Shaun Alexander (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=5048), Steven Jackson (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6783) and Willie Parker (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=7073), but nobody is going to come within 200 yards of the 2,000-rushing mark.

But if somebody does, it will be Parker.

I think our run game is going to be pretty interesting this year. This season can really show what Willie can do.

parker's biggest factor this year will be how BEN plays. particularly on 3rd downs.

I think Willie could run for 2000 yards...He has the speed and talent to put up some big games......I don't think he will this year...I look for 1500-1700 yards from Willie.....

2000 yards rushing seems like a lot, but 2000 yards rushing and receiving could happen for Willie

His total production is going to be the key. He worked on his hands in the preseason, I know, and the short little drop passes after spreading the D will be big gainers for them this year, I have a feeling.

He definitely has the tool set to put up big numbers. It's only a matter of how our O line holds up.

Parker WILL rush for 200o yards this year IF

there is 3 of those IFS...

1. The O line plays like it did in 2004 and 2005. It is very possible. It is pretty much the same line that went to the SB, with an upgrade at RT. The only wild card is Center.

2. Arians holds to his word and spread out the defense with three and four wide, and then runs it.

3. We do not get predictable again, which means that Ben has to have a decent year as well.

I don't see 2,000 on the ground, but I see 2,000+ combined. He won the coaches over to keep him on the field for 3rd down, and that's the key. If he stays injury free, I expect 1400 on the ground and 600+ catching the ball. He's probably good for 12-15 TD's, too, if he's on the field like that.

4. Dan Kreider comes in a blocks quite a bit as well.
