The battle to name the new Indiana Jones film is over, and the winner is "The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."

Forget about "Indiana Jones and the City of Gods" or even "Indiana Jones and the Destroyer of Worlds," two of the potential names registered by producers Lucasfilm Ltd. The next movie featuring the two-fisted adventurer will be called "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."

Actor Shia LaBeouf, who has been cast to play Jones' son in the film, blurted out the title on stage at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards

If you are into it...the latest breaking news is available at www.theraider.net (http://www.theraider.net). Been following it for a while as I am a huge fan of the series. I was hoping that the "City of Gods" was the actual title. Not a big fan of the one they chose.

I do like that Karen Allen is reprising her role as Marion in this one...should be good. Harrison still looks good in the fedora!

thanks hammer. other than the star wars maybe, this is definitely my favorite series.

pretty cool angle to have him on adventures with his son. i agree on having marion back. you think shes the mom?

i have to admit, i was kinda hoping s. connery would be in it at first, but i guess they gotta keep it fresh and not jump the shark. it would be overkill after the last movie, even with the great chemistry they had as father and son.

Connery was in it, but declined to come out of retirement.

The crystal skull thing is interesting. There is a lot of occult stuff about 13 crystal skulls. Makes sense, I guess. I'll be there opening night for sure. Indy is cool as Hell, even if he's 70 years old.
