I actually got to watch PTI today after work and I saw that Ben was on. He had some interesting things to say reguarding Cowher. The guys asked him if the team tries harder for coaches they like rather then coaches they dont like.
First off, Ben never said well I like Cowher or anything, he just said they are all professional athletes and if they arent trying to win every game they shouldnt be there. But as long as you respect the coach that makes you want to play for him that much more. He also goes on to say that Tomlin So from what I take from that is
Ben did not infact have a great personal relationship with Cowher (as previously noted. This just confirms it).
The guys also asked about the line everyone uses....'worked harder in the offseason then ever before.' Ben said that it kind of depends. And that you constantly have to work or else other will surpass you. I found it interesting when he said he didnt spend as much time in the class room last year as he should have but rather the weight room trying to get bigger and stronger. He said this year it has been more mental preperation then physical and he feels better now then he did before he got drafted.
All in all a good interview comin from 2 morons that forgot what it means to be real journalists.
