No lie - I saw the Packers jump over us by more than a few thousand in a couple of hours last year, that's why I don't bother. Too much ballot-stuffing going on.

What a crock of crap...The pack had almost a million votes last year....hmmmm pretty good for a small market team that has one of the smallest travelling fan bases.

You know,I came here to read some breakdown of the Bronco's game and see what you guys were saying about it. However reading this just made me laugh.

You're joking right? smallest traveling fan base? LMAO, I hate to break this to you but we have one of the BIGGEST fan bases in the entire NFL Not mention we travel quite well around the NFL.

Go ask Charger fans the last time we over ran their stadium or some 49ers fans once. Go ask a Viking fan how a few weeks ago we out numbered them in their own stadium. Go ask the Tampa Bay fans of why they changed their ticket selling policy after we over ran the Big Somberio.

Small Market Team? Uh Yeah, Ever been to Wisconsin on a Sunday when the Packers are playing?

I heard some really asinine and ridiculous stuff said about us Packer fans but this one just takes the cake.

Yes you do have a good fan base, I have been to the Packer fan club in Indy to watch games. But yes GB is a small market as is Pittsburgh. According to Wikipedia the population of GB is 100,353 as of the 2006 census, Pittsburgh is 312,819. The city I live in in Indiana is 59,734 not much smaller than GB. Small market, large fan base.

Oh I agree that we are labeled a small market team however unlike your state we dont have two teams in Wisconsin. The Majority of the state pretty much are Packer fans. That includes two major metro areas in both Milwaukee, and Madison. Some seem to forget that. Remember up until Dec 18,1994 there was 3 games a year played in the old Millwaukee Brewer stadium IE county stadium.

Ok, I did this today. Don't know if it works or not, but I did it with IE6 (no tabbed browsing). Will try again tonight at the house with FireFox and see what happens. Let's get those Packers this year.

Just a heads-up. The Jags are the "team of the day" today. Let's keep clicking as much as possible today to keep our lead over them. Click...clear cookies...lather...rinse...repeat!!!

JoeR63
12-08-2007, 07:11 AM
As far as Green Bay's huge lead goes. I'm not sure how they did it, but I have a suspicion. I haven't found a way to be able to play the kick game more than once a day, but by clearing cookies you can keep getting one click at a time, and if you get a system down, you can get a click about every 20-25 seconds.

I was reading an article from a PC magazine last week and apparently there's a program out there that can automatically fill in those character codes and make it seem like it's coming from a unique computer. Sites like Ticketmaster are having trouble with this. Now, if someone had that program and set it up to fly through clicks, they could amass a big number. Does that explain the big lead, or do they just have that many more people who are frantically clearing cookies and re-clicking???

Because Wisconsin(the state the Packers are located in) is known for making cheese and alot of Packers fans where hats which resembles cheese.

Like this. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k262/BerkeleyMusicMan/MarisaFootballCH.jpg
