Watching the Chargers/Broncos game right now - Broncos look pathetic on offense and defense. 27-3, Chargers, 9:20 left in 3rd.

Look for Willie to have a HUGE day against these guys in 2 weeks. I knew the Broncos' run D had fallen off, and have said as much recently, but it has REALLY fallen off.

small defensive line. Even our offensive line should move these guys around

The media "darling" class of 2006 is excruciatingly overhyped.

"Superman" Vince Young had a 3 INT performance today, I don't see what is so great about Jay Cutler, and Reggie Bush can't carry the load for the Saints.

If we don't hand over the game on a silver platter like last time, we beat the Broncos.

I think vince young is the most overhyped qb in the nfl. I cant stand all the credit he gets. Guy has a career percentage rate of 55%. He's like vick if you can force him to not run you can see his true colors

what is funny is that this overhyped broncos team would absolutely murder the 5-0 patriots.

the 1st post bye week match-up for the steelers should be another "should win" game for them.

41-3 Chargers. A beatdown of epic proportions. Mike Turner takes it to the house from 75 yards out.

And the Broncos are an AFC contender?

they said champ baily had a quad pull, and with travis henry's problems I am really looking forward to being at that game!!!

They were awful - hopefully they play next week before they play the Steelers - no team could be that bad at home 2 weeks in a row

Nope, Broncos' bye week is next week as well. However, they haven't looked good at all this year.

And the news doesn't get better for the Broncos

Reeling Broncos take another hit: Pro Bowl C Nalen done for season

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Denver Broncos center Tom Nalen tore his right biceps muscle and will be out for the season.

The five-time Pro Bowler was injured in the first quarter of a 41-3 loss to San Diego on Sunday, but kept playing.

"We couldn't even run inside running plays, had to run outside running plays," coach Mike Shanahan said Monday. "He didn't have any strength in there. It kind of gives you an idea of what he's made of."

The Broncos also lost tight end Nate Jackson for the season with a torn groin. Cornerback Champ Bailey, who injured his left quadriceps against the Chargers, should be ready for the Pittsburgh game on Oct. 21. The Broncos have a bye this week.

"If we were playing this week, I don't think he'd be able to play," Shanahan said. "He should be fine for Pittsburgh."

Shanahan said he didn't want to discuss who would start in Nalen's place, saying filling the void will be difficult. Chris Myers is listed as the backup on the Broncos' depth chart.

"Tom, I believe, is the best center to ever play the game," Shanahan said of the 14-year veteran. "That's what I believe."

Nalen is expected to have surgery within a week and will be out for close to four months. Shanahan didn't think the injury was career ending. "He should be fine and ready to go next season," Shanahan said.

Nalen is the second starting offensive lineman to go down. The team lost guard Ben Hamilton to a concussion in training camp. He was placed on season-ending injured reserve on Sept. 28.

Nalen hasn't missed a start since tearing a ligament in his left knee against Kansas City on Oct. 20, 2002. He had surgery to repair the knee and was back 10 months later in time to start the 2003 season, during which he earned his fifth Pro Bowl selection.

One less guy the Steelers DL has to worry about in terms of taking their knees out.
