The forecast in Denver will change drastically after the Steelers arrive today, with rain and snow expected by kickoff, according to The Weather Channel.

The high temperature in Denver today is expected to be 73 degrees with mostly sunny skies. The high for tomorrow, however, is expected to be 43 with rain changing to snow.

Willie P. has run well in the slop of Heinz Cow Pasture in November and December, so hopefully this is not an issue.

FWIW I love snow games  (and will LMAO if baseball gets what it deserves for stretching out the season by getting snow for World Series games in Denver)

Steeler weather.

Well - when we used to get snow here in Pittsburgh - yes. The snow has really dwindled here in the last 5-6 years or so.

They'll be ready to play in whatever Mother Nature tosses at 'em - Tomlin and his staff will make sure of that.:tt02:

I wonder if Ben & Tomlin will have the talk about Ben wearing gloves in cold & wet weather that used to get Cowher so agitated?:sofunny:

Global warming in full effect. We might have to elect a democrat to ensure we have snow down the road. Al Gore doesn't seem like such a bad idea in retrospect. lol

That is great. Snow means our O line gets to fire straight out to the D line. They are going to have a harder time running stunts because of traction.

That also means our D will be better... Yes, that makes sense. We come from wherever, not necessary to run stunts in bad weather, we STILL make the Oline guess and change who they block.

I seriously predict a strong win.

I just heard on Channel 11 here in Pittsburgh that Denver is expecting 3-5 inches of snow and temps in the low to mid 30's today. Hopefully the snow will be finished falling by game time and the field will be cleared off. Most of the team has played in adverse elements before (not necessarily here in the Burgh) so other than a bit of a sloppy field, they should be fine.

Yep, we are getting snow right now - we have about an inch on the ground with more falling as I type this.

It is snowing like a sonofagun right now - - but it is forecast to end by lunch time.... Temperature at game start is forecast for 33?, so it should still be 'Steelers Weather' by then......

Current WC forecast says snow ends around kickoff but that Denver is currently having "thunder snow" - that sounds pretty cool but can anyone educate me on WTF it is? :sofunny:

Well, the snow has stopped (for now at least) - about 1 to 1-and-1/2 inches of accumulation.

How can you not love a snow game? Two seasons ago against Da Bears at Heinz Field? That's classic in my mind. The Bus was four wheel drive that day.

Yeah, great game but it took over 10 hours to drive home! 400 miles in 10 hours... not fun.

I love snow period but will it be good for Fast Willie. It was good for the Bus with snow tires. Lets hope Willie can get some traction or this may be Davenport's best game as a Steeler.

GO STEELERS!!!!!
