I dont know for you guys but the more I see our team play the more Im impressed with our young players.

Im starting to think that the young Anthony Smith is going to be a heck of a Football player. He was everywhere today and hits to hurt you.

But I have to admit that my fav young player is Woodley. We should consider giving him more reps.Maybe I'm wrong but I think that on his 3 sacks(on 15 plays or so) he has 2 FF.

so....

Roethlisberger
Parker
Holmes
Miller
Anthony Smith

these are already impact players and they are 25 yrs old or less....

Wow what a bright future we have in front of us

Go Steelers

Did woodley get much playing time in this game I didn't get to watch it I heard smith was lighting them up.

I think Woodley played a total of ZERO plays

Really stupid considering Harrison and Haggans got no pressure all day

Correct me if I'm wrong but were'nt the coaching staff just this past week talking about getting him more playing time. I suppose that Cincys offensive personell might have dictated that he not be on the field. You have to admit that he has been impressive when given the oppurtunity.

I believe our future is very bright on D. I'm just concerned with the depth on our OL.

...GREAT JOB both O & D :banging::banging::banging:!!! I think they read some of the comments right here, that's why they improved themselves! Watchout for next week, I really wanna see Ratbirds ask for mercy.......

I agree. We are a superbowl bound team, mabey not this year but over these years with all the great young talent, and more of it to come in the drafts.

Go Steelers!

I think this team will go places in the near future. Why? We finally have consistent competance at QB after so many years of running through marginal QB's and stiffs. This team hasn't even begun to gel under Tomlin just yet.

The Steelers need to address Interior O-Line next draft and get a few walls in front of Ben. You need to protect the franchise. More LB depth wouldn't hurt either.

I agree Edman, we finally found our franchise QB in Ben. But I do agree with everyone else in that we need to draft or even sign some olineman to protect Ben. Thats where my concern is at and if we can fix that, then we'll be stacked (yes I said stacked)

Totally agree. If we don't get a good o line we might lose our franchise QB we needed for so much time and never got. I mean, look at the rams, Bulger is a quality football player but that o line is just killing him with injuries and affecting his play. I wouldn't want to see Ben in that position

Actually fast Willie is 26, and turns 27 on 11-11. I remember that because he is 3 days older than me.

I am also optimistic about the future of this team. I like everyone else, just wish we had a better OL.

Unfortunately NFL running backs age in dog years - I will enjoy Willie P. while I can - his style obviously will not have the same shelf life as that of The Bus.

The DL has age and the OL is simply mediocre. But they have a QB who again is playing one step below the elite level, which in the NFL makes up for a lot.

the good thing is he hardly played in college. so unlike a guy like adrian peterson, parker may have more quality years in him than guys who played a lot in college.
