View Full Version : Should Ben play?

Anyone think they should just let Ben heal for a week, regardless if he is able to play or not? Certainly he won't be a 100%, so why not just let him take the time get alot better. I believe, as long as the D plays well, Batch wont have a problem getting a win over the Jags. Since it is not an AFC North game, it won't be a big loss if we were to lose, and we would have a healthy Ben for the Bungles game. Anyway, just my $.02

I think they should see how the knee progresses this week. If he is having some difficulty by all means keep him out of this game. We don't need him coming in before he is ready and hurting himself worse. Batch should be fine with the running game and the D. Plus as Rotor said the Bengals are next and that game is more important.

I personally don't like Batch too much, but would rather have Ben healthy. Cowher is really good at making sure they're healed before they play. He doesn't take too many risks, so if he does play then he's just fine.

Like i stated before i am not on the batch band wagon but a healthy ben is way by far more important i have also heard that maddox is not that injured as reports say and he may be playing in next weeks game i guess its too early too tell yet and cowher will not realease who is going to start till right before the game anyhow
its a waiting game

You have to sit him against the Jaguars. If he plays and gets hurt then are you going to put Batch in there against Cincinnati? That game is way too important and will decide first place for the division. I wouldn't take my chances playing him if he's not 100%
