thought i would start a thread to post on weekly since it is starting to get down to the nitty gritty.

it seems the contenders and pretender are starting to take shape, with crushzilla leading the league with only 1 loss and a commanding 2 game lead in 1st place.

palmersteel, steelkings, and hometown gal are your current playoff teams.

stlrtruck, stanless steel, section514, and newzfoxjr (who is the hottest team in the league right now behind of course crushzilla) are all just 1 game behind in the playoff chase. steelcityman and verks are still fighting with their playoff lives (4 games behind) but could definately be spoiler material since they both won last weekend.

good luck to all! (except whoever is playing me ;) :tt02:

I lost track of doing the weekly updates after the NFC rearrangement.

That and I didn't want want to brag :wink02:

Yes. A re-rematch.

Don't worry, Hometown, it kills me to cheer for T.O. and Plax every week.

Don't think I'm going to bench them, though :wink02:

Good luck to you, as well.

Lucky you, I'm not in the playoffs.

Yet my team got blown up from the start. Although in one league I have a consolation bracket to take 5th in.

Well, didn't make the playoffs. Eh, it was my first FF experience. But that streak I made at the end was pretty sick. I liked it. Hopefully next year I'll be way better. ^_^

You did very well for your first year in FF Newzfoxjr. Look forward to playing against you next season!

Thanks, Ryan. I'm hoping LT has a monster week - he hasn't had many of those this season. I've got some fiery players on my roster, but they're sometimes inconsistent. I'm hoping to see some consistency out of them this weekend!

Well the Moderator battle, that will be discussed for years to come, began tonight.

I thought I'd get the ball rolling by playing a LB with a bad wheel :dang:

He's avoiding a goose egg, but still not a wise move. I forgot the Texans played tonight. Well... I remembered the Texans played, but I forget that Ryans plays there... he's far too talented to be associated with Houston...

In my college league, my run at a three peat is in serious jeopardy, as I've really faltered coming down the stretch.

He has Owens and Plax, as well.

I'd rather see them put up two fat ZEROS and lose to you Marianne.

My opponent in the other league is my former roommate and without question fantasy rival.

Congrats Crush on winning our matchup this weekend! You only got me by 26 points, and considering how good your team is - I think I did pretty well - LOL! Derek Anderson and the Steelers D did not come through for me and that was my downfall.

Good luck on winning the AFCC this week!

Well that is a safe guarantee, then.

My team had an alright week, but the juggernaut it was is only a shell now. I could point fingers, but my guys who dropped the ball already know who they are...

I doubt they'll lose sleep over it :sofunny:

I would have really liked to have hit my stride now instead of a few weeks ago when I was putting up 200 every week.

Good game, Palmer. Boldin KILLED me in both of those leagues. In the other my opponent had Warner, too.

How does that happen? He barely even practiced and was questionable and has a career game...

Oy vey.

I'll be getting together with Rev to get things ready for next week. Tomorrow I'll post how we are going to do things, but its going to be pretty basic. I need to scheme up how we will do transactions, if anyone wants to do them.

Good game, again.

Look out for Zilla next year. I'll be looking to go all the way.

I lost my game against SteelKings by 12 points. Damn - LT was having a great game last night and Turner pulled him in the second half. :dang::dang: Great game SteelKings!

Great game to you also. I think that Derek Anderson lost it for you with those four picks.

Derek sure didnt help my cause, but the kick in the hiney for me was LT only playing a half game. The way he was running on Denver, he probably would have had close to 200 yards on the ground and at least another TD or 2. :banging: That is a common problem in FF playoffs when you have players who will be participating in the NFL playoffs.

This was a fun league this year! Thanks Crush and revs - you did a great job!
