How many 7-2 teams have been beaten by a 1-8 team?

Lol for some reason I am thinking it's 0 or all... At least one extreme or the other, otherwise you wouldn't be posting this. :P

...say, how 'bout asking the boy wearing B&G regalias and all (with #7 white knit cap) in the 4th qtr, crying ...(I guess when he saw Ben sacked for the 7th time!!!).

Not sure, but I vaguely recall a 2-11 Miami team beating a 12-1 NE team in Miami in 2004. My point? One game doesn't define an entire season, win or lose.

agreed...one game in the nfl does not make a season. This team should make the playoffs. When that happens - everyone goes back to 0-0.

I don't see the Steelers finishing worse than 10-6, which will get them into the playoffs, more than likely with a home game in the first round.

I keep bringing this up, but the 2005 Colts were "unstoppable" too. Started 13-0 and ended up 14-2. They didn't win a game in the playoffs that year thanks to the black and gold.

most of the time i would agree with you one game does not define a season. however, lets say the steelers did not when the super bowl as a 6th seed. then they would be a 6th seed that almost won a bowl. however, since they won they were the 1st team in nfl history to be a 6th seed and win a bowl...that in itself defined their season.
