Jeff Reed is the obvious choice here, but I think Tyrone Carter played a whale of a game. 11 solo tacks and 1 AT. Great job!:tt02::thumbsup:

Yeah I'd go with either Hines, Sep, or Jeff

Gotta go with Hines here. He made the catches when we needed them at the end.

Gotta give it to Jeff, he won it for us, and when was the last time he got Player of the Game, if ever?

^Ha.

I'd have to give to either Jeff Reed or Daniel Sepulveda.

Jeff Reed and the Defense.

Obviouisly, Jeff Reed. He came through in the clutch.

Harrison had a heck of a game, too. The defense did a fine job of holding back the Fins. I'm surprised our D didn't come up with the only TD.

Larry Foote & James Farrior on D.

Hines had a great game moving the chains tonight, despite the soft officiating. The Heath got called 2 big times, sadly.

Ugly game.

farrior with 11 total tackles/assists, 1/2 sack, and forced fumble and carter who filled in great with 11 SOLID tackles.

Game balls to every fan who stayed there through that mess.

Willie Parker if I had to choose just one.

But also throw Larry Foote and the entire defense as a whole in there.

James Farrior and Larry foote were perfect tonight, but overall i would give it to Sep. the punter for the great field position all night!

Of course props go to Reed, but I think the Steeler D as a unit should get the game ball....they kept the Dolphins out of the end zone by making the essential plays when they had to. All I can say after that hot mess last night is....WHEW!!

Willie Parker if I had to choose just one.

24 carries for 81 yards in soup, and ZERO FUMBLES!

in a game of attrition and a battle over the simplest of field position, i'll give it to the rookie punter. probably the only one he'll ever get.

however ben was on fire. his $6 million bionic glove has got to get 1 sooner or later :chuckle:

My game ball goes to the Special Teams. In a game when a big return could have won it easily for the other team, they stepped up. Coverage, punting, and the one great field goal to win it. Special Teams. Pat on the back to them.

Reed!

Hines Ward -- he made catch after impossible catch all night in horrendous conditions. Without him, the Steelers don't get in easier field goal range on that last drive.

Ok...I say Willie. I think it was him or Hines. They played very well on that field.

I go with Jeff Reed, though Sep and the D come in close second.

Jeff Reed. if he misses that FG, then the game goes into OT and probally ends in a tie of 0-0.

I agree... I've never seen a field completely dominate a game like that. Who knew it could catch a punted ball and hold it so firmly too!

I'd have to give the game ball to either:
-Jeff Reed for scoring
-Willie Parker for passing 1,000 yards for a 3rd straight year and 81 yards rushing on that piece of crap
-Hines Ward for making some amazing catches
-James Farrior, Larry Foote and the entire defense for 2 fumbles
-Ben for completing 15 straight throws in that awful weather and wind
-Sepulvda for giving the Dolphins horrible field position
