Painting that field is like attempting to make paint dry on the rivers

I think they're not painted because Pitt uses Heinz Field as a home stadium, so the generic "Pittsburgh" in one end zone, and the diagonal lines in the opposite end zone suit both the Steelers and the Panthers. When the Steelers were at Three Rivers, the Panthers were still at Pitt Stadium.

Now i think they would be able to paint the end zones in a way that doesnt suck because the Panthers' season being over. I know they painted steelers into one end zone, but it would look cool if the painted the end zones black with Pittsburgh Steelers in them.

If they put FieldTurf next season (I hope they do), they can order several endzone logos and change them depending on who plays, Steelers or Pitt.

Good God I hope we get some fieldturf in there. I used to be a big fan of having the real grass field, but it's gotten to be such a pain in the butt.

Suck it up and get the fake stuff already!!

The field looked great this weekend. I say keep the grass and replace it like they did this year.

Here's a crazy idea....why not write PITTSBURGH in both end zones....works for both teams.

I say stick with the grass most of the Steelers all said they prefer grass because it gives them better traction and grip and whatever the steelers want i want ha!

How about Pitt changes its colors to Black and Gold?

It's also an NCAA rule for teams who share stadiums with NFL Teams.

Sounds like some of you should apply for Facility Manager of Heinz Field! I dont play on the field so whatever works for the players: turf or grass, then I leave it up to the experts! And, besides who am I to say anything, there the ones that makes the thousands of dollars per year.

:cheer:Agree totally. And thank God, we don't have cheerleaders also.

LOL boy, I can't stand cheerleaders. The players don't even hear them half the time, and they don't get the fans pumped up, the game is what gets them screaming and yelling.
