This Jags reminded me of the Steelers of 97. Run the ball, roll the QB out and throw deep maybe three to four times. Oh yeah SMACK YOU in the mouth on defense. If you change the uniforms (KS was a lot faster) the teams are almost identical.

Actually, the Jags have a bona fide QB, and not a WR playing out of position.

the jags are what we wanted to be in the late 90's

Jack Del Rio is not ashamed to admit that the Steelers were the mold he wanted to make his Jaguars. He's proclaimed it himself.

Del Rio is not a 'lip service' guy. Going from Leftwich to a "bona fide QB" some might call lucky. And luck being a product of a good design could have it's merits here if it weren't for the fact that it was solely JDR who purged that WR playing QB off the roster.

Nothing like tasting our own medicine...EH.
