A ship hit an iceberg and started to sink
the passengers cried out in fear
But the captain and crew stood firm at their posts
not screaming or shedding a tear.
A female enroute to a waiting lifeboat
begged the captain with trembling lip.
"Save yourself, come with me"...but the captain said "Nay,
A Captain goes down with his ship".
A soldier was trapped behind enemy lines
his buddies were all injured or dead.
He gathered the ammo from all that remained
and returned his own barrage of lead.
Somewhere a voice 'cross the battfield cried.
"Retreat or your fate you will find"
The soldier simply smiled and said "Not a chance,
I'd never leave a buddy behind"
This season has been one of ups and some downs.
So much change , yet we sure cant deny,
We've done better than anyone thought we could do
and we've done it with our heads held up high.
With character, ethics, pride, and hard work...
we''ll never break, though sometimes we might bend.
I'm NEVER embarrassed.... Dissapointed"? Hell NO!!
I'm a Steeler Fan ... until the end.
