Don't want to jinx anythjing here and I realize a playoff spot is far from guaranteed at this point.... however if we get a home play-off game what do you think the chances are of getting tickets outside the stadium at a reasonable cost. (say double face value or less)
Came down to the Brownstain game and got tickets from StubHub. Seats were great however I feel they were somewhat overpriced once I saw how much tickets were going for on the street. :dang:
Never been to a playoff game and think it would be awesome. :tt02:
Any thoughts..... thanks in advance ?

I just bought a pair off ebay for 477.00, section 508 (20 yd line). I think this is about average for a playoff game for second hand tickets, the only advice I can give you is look at lots of different sites, and do it very often.
Many times I have gotten something off of ebay real cheap by using the "sort by newly listed" function. Sometimes a dude pisses off his wife, or someone doesn't know what something is worth, and I nab it using Buy it Now. But I know that will NOT happen with playoff tickets, I'm just saying the deals are out there.

I can tell you that playoff tickets probably won't be cheap. Double face would be a bargain. I think face is over $100 for playoff games. If we host the Browns, which could happen. You'd be lucky to get a pair under $500. I've had bad luck with playoff games trying to scalp out front. Plus there's is some extra risk with fakes. 2001 AFC championship tickets kept going up as game time neared instead of coming down like most people think. By gametime no pairs. Only single tickets for $650 each. Needless to say we watched the game at a bar. Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.
Stubhub has uper level endzones for over $300 a piece.
Maybe I'll plan to come down and see If I can get a single somehow, someway, and if not then at least I can tailgate and be amungst the Steeler nation and then watch at a local watering hole if needed.

I heard there is a ticketmaster sale of playoff tickets next week to season ticket waiting list members, but you need a password.
Anyone know the password?

If you're on the waiting list they prob sent them a letter. More than likely its a unique alpha numeric password.
They've really locked up that Ticketmaster site. If you put the wrong password in more than 3 times, you have to call the ticket office to have them unlock it for you. (I know this from first hand exp  )
