dallas vs carolina was a horribly officiated game . cowboys easilly got the benefit of the doubt on 2 judgement calls involving pass interference and steve smith was robbed of a clear reception late in the game.

it is clear that the refs have no room for error when it comes to accidentally interfering with the inevitable pats-cowboys sb matchup.

Yep, the officiating stunk tonight and stunk big time in the Cowboys' favor. I wonder what whitewash Pereira will give this one? :coffee:

I'd love for Farve and the Pack and for Ben and the Steelers to screw it all up.

I have a gut feeling that the PACKERS will get the charmed run through the playoffs. I believe more in Karma or Fate. After the fact you can always find a good link. This time before hand I can see Favre having a golden run. Send FAVRE off to retirement and HOF with one last moment of glory ala Elway and Bettis

If it was a fix I think the Pack would be better candidates than the Cowboys. Todays decisions just make sure that the NFC homefield picture goes down to the wire and creates good attention for the NFL.

Good teams will win in spite of bad officiating. :tt02:

While this is true in most cases, if the officials are calling ticky tack fouls one way and not in the other, it does become apparent that the officials are making every attempt to make sure that games are at least directed a certain way.
