Preseason talks about the AFC North mostly consisted of the Ravens and the Bengals. ON PAPER, the Ravens and Bengals looked like the best teams.

It was now the Ravens and Bengals divisions. The Ravens with there great defense and "Air McNair". The Bengals with all the young talent they have on there team. While the Browns had a great future. NO WAY did the Steelers have a chance. Ben was proven to be a fraud, the D is getting old, and they have a first year head coach. How can they do it? Yea they couldn't. They'd be lucky to get a wild card.

However, what the media didn't know was that you should NEVER doubt the Steelers. Thought they would learn that when just 2 short seasons ago the Steelers were doubted but ended up Super Bowl champs. But no they didn't. They doubted us, they said we're done, finished, the Steelers are done as the AFC North powerhouse.

But what there little minds didn't know was that the Steelers had an "off year" last year. What they didn't know was that Mike Tomlin would come in here, change things up, then we'd the Steelers we all know and love. As weeks went on, as months went on, it became apparent that the Pittsburgh Steelers were back and ready to take back what is rightfully there's!

So as you watch games today, just know that we proved the whole NFL country wrong again and that you should NEVER doubt the Steelers!

We're the AFCN Champs - the Bungles and the Rats are the AFCN Chumps (though I will give the Bungles a noogie for beating the Brungles today!)

I always had faith in our Steelers to prove everyone wrong.
Everyone said we would be 3rd in the division, but the Steeler faithful new better and the Steelers believed in their first year coach to lead them to a Divison Title!
CONGRATS STEELERS AFCN CHAMPS!!!

Champs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That sounds great. Now, lets look for SD to drop a couple and get the 3rd seed? Or would the 4th seed be better?

We def want that third seed, unless of course you want to play Jacksonville in the wild card. The third seed we would play either the Browns or Titans.

On a different note now it is extra extra sweet to win the division crown on our 75th anniversary. All season was a huge tribute to the Steelers of the past, and what a perfect way to pay homeage to our heritage then to win the division!

Now lets keep it going with a conference championship, and Super Bowl championship.

sorry to put a damper on it, but it doesn't mean anything unless the steelers go to the SB.

its a good thing, not a bad thing. (makes for a brutal schedule next year though)

There was not many people that thought we had a chance this year and, hell even our former coach picked us third . So this is pretty cool and, now we need to take of the ratbirds next week. Then get ready for the playoffs and, hopefully make another run for the SB.

Yes sir. We're guaranteed that we will have the Pats, Colts and Chargers on the schedule next year, plus I believe we play the AFC South and the NFC East, which means we get the Jags, Titans, Cowboys and Giants, on top of our division games. Brutal indeed. The only good thing is that we will probably have at least 4 of those games at home (Colts, Chargers, Cowboys and Giants), with the Pats being iffy. Knowing the schedule-makers, they will want to protect the NFL's darlings, so they'll make the Steelers go back to Foxborough next season.

well I don't think we can really expect a SB this year since we have a new coach and we have the best team ever and the Colts in our conference.
