The phasing in of the Cover 2.
The coaches lack of utilizing Timmons or Woodley.
It has been exploited by offenses designed to beat a "run stop" defense

I dont think that means the end of the 3-4 just signals the Steelers realization that the successful defenses are the ones that stop both the run and pass. Like the Ravens and the Patriots the personnel to run both schemes the 3-4 and the 4-3 is necessary.

I don't think we will switch completly to the 4-3 we will be using a little of both.
