View Full Version : Wilson's injury sounds bad...

Wilson, who is listed as questionable with a wrist injury, said a bone was broken and ligaments were torn in his left wrist when he tackled Jaguars linebacker Mike Peterson on an interception return in the first quarter.

Wilson remained in the game and caught just one pass after that from Tommy Maddox. Yesterday was the first time since the overtime defeat he attempted to catch a pass with his broken wrist, which was taped with a protective brace.

"I'm going to give it a shot," said Wilson, the No. 3 receiver who was signed in free agency from the San Francisco 49ers. "That's what we get paid for -- to sacrifice our bodies for the game."

Wilson said surgery has not been ruled out.

"They said I could probably get away with it right now," Wilson said. "But if it causes me pain ... I don't know. I'm definitely going to try it out and see how it feels."

A broken bone and torn ligaments in the wrist has gotta really hurt a WR's game.

You could take this quote one of two ways.... "I'm going to give it a shot," said Wilson.

I noticed Nate Washington in the games last Sunday. Maybe he will get some more playing time. (Nate is wearing #85 now)

Well theres no doubt about we are beat up even coming off a bye week

I know in the past are replacements always stepped up and did the job if not better than the starters minus a few exceptions

lets just hope that can happen now especially when we need it it is still early in the season so i hope the management does not make any rational decisions and sticks with what we are good at right now like not abandoning are running game

Ward is suppose to start Sunday Correct?

Any word on our secondary at all?

Easy, Morgan will more than pick up the slack. :)
