USC vs Illinois and Georgia vs Hawaii

I'm going to take USC by two touchdowns against the Illini. Zook and his players had a good season, but USC is scary talented and they're finally healthy. This game could be over the half time.

I'm going to take Georgia by 17 against the Warriors. The last time a big time mid major QB played a game against Georgia, he was on the sidelines with a concussion before the first quarter was over. Colt Brennan and his Warriors had themselves a heck of a season and got their reward by going to the a BCS Bowl, but tonight reality sets in the Bulldogs run the Warriors out of the building.

Thoughts?

those were the obvious choices as their are the BCS games and BCS games tend to be bigger than regular bowls. i do think USC will end up winning but i think it will be closer than u think.

and obviously u gotta know that im gonna disagree wit u on the hawaii game. i think it will all come down to if hawaii's d can slow down georgia's running backs. we did a good job handling ian johnson but georgia basically has two ian johnsons. if u shut one down there have another. im pretty confident that our offensive skill positions can compete with georgia and georgia's coach said this o-line is probably the best at pass blocking hes ever seen. if we can get a couple of turnovers and slow down the running backs (slow down i kno we cant stop them) i think hawaii has a better chance than most people are giving them.

ill bet that quarterback that georgia knocked out didnt have the mobility or the quick release that colt brennan has

Zabransky was as mobile as Brennan, maybe more so. Besides, Hawaii has not seen speed like they'll see tonight since they played USC.

I already posted my thoughts on the UGA/rainbows game on the Hawaii thread so I'll just add that I look for outgoing Senior TB Thomas Brown to have a big game.
Georgia's usual MO is to start out with mostly Brown and then a steady diet of Moreno by the 3rd quarter, but with Brown being a Senior, he'll get most of the carries today.

Like I said in the other thread, smashmouth vs. finese. I love it!!!
