thats a pretty damn high fever for an adult. i would not want to play football in freezing weather a day after being sick like that. my ass would be laid out across the couch watching tv. lol.

Hell - Ben played with a fever of 104. :wink02::chuckle:

Hopefully, the team docs got some meds and fluids into him and he'll be fine by tomorrow. If not, I agree with the consensus - health comes first.

i was gonna say, who reported ikes temp? was it ben or michelle tafoya. anyways ive seen brady and mike jordan do pretty well with a fever.

ike will be fine after a cup of hot cocoa. his temp will be regulated and his blood will not boil. i see a full recovery on the horizon.

but to be sure, does anybody know if hes been placed on IR?

That's why you're not a pro football player.

Not that I would recommend it, but Brady played the 2004 Championship Game against us with a 103+ fever.

If it was me, I'm at home on my couch drinking TheraFlu.

Well, I think he had the fever the night before and had shaken it by gametime. That metro whines if he chips a nail.

sounds like an exaggeration to me

104 is serious and could be a pneumonia, no way he plays with a fever that high

I hope it helps with his ability to catch the ball.

I would love if he does, but if it's something that will affect his health then he shouldn't play. life is more important than football

I had a 104 degree fever once. that night I had a dream about obtaining ultimate knowledge, and all I had to do was put the last piece into a giant puzzle block that was floating above the earth and I would know all...but I woke up just before I put it in the slot and that was that...I'm still...not so smart...

I was over it in one day.

I remember Cowher saying more than once that he thinks guys play better when they're sick. Knowing how I feel when I'm sick, I can't imagine that at all, but then I'm not in anywhere near the physical condition of a pro ball player. I hope he's OK.
