GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Brett Favre (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/player/69674) is leaning toward returning for another season with the Green Bay Packers (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/team/67046), according to comments he made to his hometown newspaper.

In a story in posted on the Web site of the Biloxi (Miss.) Sun-Herald on Thursday, Favre said he isn't approaching Saturday's playoff game against Seattle like it will be his final game in Green Bay. He seemed more optimistic than in years past about returning.

"For the first time in three years, I haven't thought this could be my last game," Favre told the newspaper. "I would like to continue longer." Favre's now-annual flirtation with retirement has taken on a life of its own in Wisconsin. He has taken weeks and even months in recent years to make his decision

hopefully we wont have to worry about this all summer..lol :wink02:

I feel bad for Arron Rogers. He could be very good if given a chance.

After seeing his comeback season, I don't mind Favre coming back. He loves the game too much.

Still wondering if Green Bay regrets picking Rodgers in Round 1 in the 2004 draft. I think it's pretty much a wasted pick now.

Farve will play as long as he can keep winning. His ego won't let him step away now.
