A tale of two halfs is last Saturday's story
The Steelers played with guts and almost got the glory

Jacksonville vs Pittsburgh - a rematch from several weeks ago
This time Mother Nature saved all the snow

We'd need to score early and often if we wanted to win
We were happy to see that's just how it would begin

Then the Jaguars ran it back to tie the game
And then Ben was picked 3 times so more points came

Something happened at half-time - our guys came out on fire
Who knew this game would come right down to the wire?

Ben made us glad he wears the Black and Gold
18 points down and he didn't quit - he didn't fold

Yes he may have been the one who dug the hole in the beginning
But he also brought us back to within 2 points of winning

And we might have done it if a few more things went our way
Like some referee calls or that 3rd and 6 play

Ben says he's ashamed but I for one am not
A brand new head coach and look how far we got

People had predicted we would finish near the worst
But instead in our division we finished in first

Thank you Coach Tomlin for many winning reasons
We look forward to you bringing us many successful seasons!

Good one ... certainly few "experts" even thought Pittsburgh had a chance in that final game.

Here's to a healthier team next year!

and to back-to-back AFC North Championships, an AFC Championship, and a Super Bowl XLIII Championship.
