Sorry, that's a clean pick - nothing "tough" about that call. Wish Dierdork would STFU.

I look for a blowout by the defending SB champs here - remember in the fall of 2006 when the Chargers were so lucky to have Rivers rather than Eli or Ben?

Yeah, that's my feeling too.
The bolts only beat 'em by 2 earlier in the season on the heels of Peyton's 6 INTs. They can't count on that today.

Go Colts!

Very true, though I wanted to kick him in the hiney when he fumbled that ball. :buttkick:

I really wish the colts still had Freeney. He is a beast and tortured the Pats in the last game.

Hey, I finally hit 1000 posts. Now if we can get tony hipchest to cut down to one post a day, I'll catch him in 18 years give or take ... . :wink02:

One field goal over 40 yards all season for Vinateri. Wow that is shocking.

I bought the biggest shirt I could find Peyton

Am I nuts, or is there an odd noise in the Colts' dome? Sounds like the engine of a prop plane or a giant fan?

Maybe they loaded the wrong CD into the player when they went to pipe in noise.

Bad call on the holding against the Chargers. The NFL is just salivating at a NE/Indy rematch and a GB/Dal weekend.

What the fudge toast .... what happened to the Colts' D? Or, for that matter, the running game. It seems to me that Peyton and the Colts have reverted back to their per- Super Bowl ways.

Rivers is a complete loser. Seriously, who the hell does that?

The Chargers have no chance whatsoever to beat the Pats*. We'll see him talking then.

The Packers, Giants and Cowboys have an actual shot. I like the Giants rematching with them, and the Packers seem very capable of taking the Cheats* out.

It'll come down to the Super Bowl.

Yep, I hate to agree with this sentiment, but I do. And I have no faith in either the Packers, Cowboys or Giants in being able to stay within 14 of the Pats in the SB. This season is really coming to a crappy end.

Atlanta Dan
01-13-2008, 04:28 PM
Props to the Chargers punter for booting that last punt with 1:40 to go - that showed the power I thought Sep was drafted for but did not provide at the end of the Jax game - lot different scenario if Manning gets the ball at midfield

I'll be behind the Chargers but Belicheat will have Rivers head on a swivel - especially if he doesn't have LT.As I said, if the Chargers would beat the Pats I'd be happy, but I might have to shoot Rivers because he would never shut up.

At this point I couldn't be any happier to see this NFL season end.

The arrogant big-talking Bolts will get eaten alive in Foxboro next week, then we'll have to stomach seeing the Cheats hype on media day, and will only get worse once they win it.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/recap;_ylt=AgDhaa95pSkj4rkL5CXokSlDubYF?gid=200801 13011

Also an undermanned team. L.T. departed in the first half with a bruised left knee, and Rivers went out in the third quarter with a damaged right knee. Both said they hoped to be ready for the Patriots, and coach Norv Turner said they are "questionable."
