that was one of the greatest plays in super bowl history. to be quite honest.. that goes right up there along with swann's acrobat catch.

Yep, I agree - that one is right up there with Swann's "Levitating Leap."

And before that, Eli pulled a 'Ben'. How he broke that tackle is amazing.

Yeah, I swear it was Ben the Giants drafted on that play and not Eli...

This Super Bowl will add to the QB class of 2004 as potentially the greatest QB class of all time. Right now, Eli and Ben are 1-0. If Rivers had not had a torn ACL in the AFCCG and LT was healthy, he may have fought it out with ELI.

yeah, I thought Eli was too much of a ***** to pull that off

I should eat crow :dang:

but that catch was brilliant, it will definitely go into N FL lore

An awesome play. Eli gets away, wich was amazing, but then you get Tyree catching the ball with his helmet! Amazing.

i'm sorri great run by eli but a terrible decision and terrible pass.... he just tossed it wherever... if rodney harrison went up to catch the ball instead of trying to knock it down it would have been eli manning of old...

i'm sorri just david tyree making a play... eli did a GREAT job of getting away but still... could've ended up differently

Eli needs to take that man out to Bettis' Grille and get him the 36oz steak for that catch!!!

That play will be shown on SB highlight reels forever. 25 years from now they will still talk about it.

It reminded me a lot of Ben's SB pass when he rolled and tossed it toward the goal line and Ward adjusted to make the catch, but Tyree made a harder catch and did it with Harrison bending his body in half.

It was a great play, the Giants played great all game long.

That was one of the most amazing SB plays I've ever seen. It had everything, game on the line, miraculous escape by Eli and then a helmet catch by Tyree.

Edit: Oh yeah, and the fact that the cheatos eatin' shitsies lost makes it all the better.

Screw Super Bowl plays, that was one of the most amazing overall plays I've ever seen. I couldn't believe it had happened.

That play . . .
Talk about improbable. It was almost as if God himself came down and said " . . . The Cheatriots shouldn't win" In another thread someone made a reference to it being karma . . . that is exactly what its . Cheaters don't win.

Tyree's welcome in Pittsburgh anytime he wants.
