Pini & Brady

Meet Pini Swissa. He's the one who cuts Tom Brady's hair. He's even got the Super Bowl ring to prove it.

Swissa, who operates the creatively titled Salon Pini Swissa on Newbury St., is in Arizona this week to cheer on the Patriots as they tangle [:sissies:] with the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII. He's also brought his barber shears and said he plans to give Brady a close crop [:sissies:] Saturday evening before the big game.

In fact, Swissa says he's on call in the Grand Canyon State. He's already trimmed Brady's locks once this week and said teammates will phone him with a time and location for another Brady haircut on Saturday.

"I did Tom Brady (Tuesday) :jerkit:, and right before the Super Bowl, it's a surprise for everybody. Saturday night, I'm gonna cut it off. Saturday night, we're gonna cut it really, really off. We've been doing it the last couple Super Bowls, and Tom Brady is the last person to be superstitious. Every Super Bowl, I cut his hair off. I hope the helmet's gonna fit after I cut his hair off."

Don't fear, Giselle. If history is any indication, Brady's head won't be shaved for the big game. Just trimmed up.

And sorry, Plaxico, your guarantee doesn't stand a chance against Pini.

"I am the good luck," said Swissa. "I am the good luck charm. And they're definitely going to do it big time this time."

Boston.com's Ann Silvio caught up with Pini outside the Olive & Ivy Restaurant & Marketplace in Scottsdale, Ariz. on Wednesday evening. Click HERE to watch the video.

Both Beli-chicks touch down for Bowl!

PHOENIX - Question: Is New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick playing the field at Super Bowl XLII????

We ask because yesterday the coach arrived at his morning press briefing with his latest main squeeze, Linda Holliday. But we hear that his former alleged paramour, Sharon Shenocca, is also headed to Phoenix for the big game!

Well! No wonder Bill’s been in such a good mood!

You may have heard that Belichick has been uncharacteristically cheerful here in Super Bowl land this week. He’s been joking (gasp!) with the media he generally disdains and the coach even laughed out loud (double gasp!) during some of his press conferences. Belichick actually cracked up when a reporter asked him how his (miserable) stint in Cleveland shaped him as a coach.

Anyway, as you may know, Belichick’s been dating Holliday since last April when the two were first spotted together at an NCAA championship basketball game. She is a Florida boutique owner and the mother of twin teenage girls.

Shenocca, you may recall, had a nasty New Jersey divorce that named Belichick as “the other man.”

Although Sharon denied the two were lovers, her husband, Vincent, alleged adultery, saying the coach had been showering his blond, 40-something wife with cash, gifts, exotic vacations and other expensive swag.

Word is, Sharon had been dating a personal trainer, but that lately Belichick appeared to be back in the picture. We hear he sent her and her two kids to Disney World recently and Sharon reportedly was at Gillette Stadium for the AFC Championship game. And, for what it’s worth, so was Linda.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady may have ditched the walking cast, but that doesn't mean he's not in need of some ... "health" care.

Just this afternoon, the NFL MVP was seen heading into a building on Seventh Avenue NYC with several medical offices. PageSix.com first called the podiatrist (for his suspect right foot), but the receptionist there said, "No, he wasn't here."

PageSix.com then called the chiropractic practice, but the receptionist there said, "No, he didn't come in."

Finally, PageSix.com phoned AMD Lab USA, a trichologist (that's hair restoration specialist, as in, for someone who is losing theirs), and was told, very pointedly, "No comment."

We should also add that Brady was in the building for an hour and was definitely not walking with a limp.

The major cause of hair loss is stress.

I usually don't approve of calling people gay as an insult (hey, that's just me, whatever floats your boat), but that first article really was kind of...weird. This is news? This is supposed to be a complimentary, supportive article? Very odd indeed. I certainly couldn't care less about what Ben does to his hair before a game, as long as it isn't in his eyes and obscuring his vision, and I can't imagine many here would either. I would hate to see an article like this about any of the Steelers.

I don't blame Belliprick for laughing outloud after being asked a question about professional football in Cleveland.

The closest Cleveland's ever gonna come to a true pro football team is the new Arena League team they got.

Ever wonder why Canton doesn't have a pro football team? Because Cleveland would want one to!
