It is one of the best catches I've ever seen. It deserves to rank up there with the best in Super Bowl history.

Does not come close to Swann's catches in Super Bowl X. The one at midfield and the one on the sideline stand out to me as the two greatest of all time.

i was suprised it wasnt reviewed to see if it hit the ground in the back. it wasnt as much of a great catch but a historical type of play, just like the emaculate reception. franco's catch wasnt that great but since it came at such a huge moment it was called a great catch.

I have no problems with this play being rated above Swann's catch. It was an amazing play. I'm glad I got to see it when it first happened. It's definitely one for the ages.

+1. And if the game is played longer, there will be a better one. This great catch in no way diminishes any others.

If you consider that it was a 2 part play and the circumstances involved, then it was probably the greatest catch in SB history....However, if you only regard the athleticism of the catch, I believe Swanns' catches were far and above Tyree's.

Just to think Tyree had 4 catches all of the regular season all the way to making the game saving catches which was a miracle!

It was an amazing catch, and the more I see highlights of it, the more amazing it seems. For a Superbowl catch, it is a "defining" moment, and a spectacular play that will be remembered for a long time.

However, the El pass to Ward is still one of my all time favorite SB plays. yes because I'm a Steeler Homer but more importantly because it was freaking brilliant.

Tyree made an amazing, unbelievable play, and Eli was very Benlike in his escape and toss. So many bad things should have happened on that play for the Giants, but the Football Gods were watching and apparently, had their choice as to who was going to win.
