Gosder Cherilus!!! I know I know, he's a right tackle... And he is a beast of one! Why can't we take him if Williams and Otah are gone? Just look:

1st Gosder Cherilus RT BC
2nd Anthony Collins LT Kansas
3rd Roy Schuening G Tennessee
4th Kevin Smith RB UCF or Davone Bess WR Hawaii or Paul Hubbard WR Wisconsin
5th Doug Legursky C Marshall
6th Ben Moffitt ILB USF
FA Mario Urrutia WR Louisville 6'6"

These are even the rounds(or close to) in which these guys are predited to go! What an offensive line for the immidiate future!!! Pick up "Tall" WR and other needs.... What does everyone think?

I can go with that, except I would probably replace that 4th rounder with a DE, someone like Darrell Robertson if we're sticking with the 3-4, someone like Titus Brown maybe, if we're not?

Why? If we are talking to Justin Smith or other FA DEs, why would we draft a DE?

As far as I know it's only rumoured interest at this point. I hope we do bring in a DE but until we do I want to keep my options open

I'm definitely on board for Cherilus in the first

How about Kendall Langford in the 4th?

How about Kendall Langford in the 4th?Honestly I don't know enough about him to say, I was trying to stick to naming players I know something about. But if he's there, and he fills what we need. . then sure!

Really good draft IMO. Except I dont know much about RB Kevin Smith but I definitely hope we pickup a RB with a mid-round pick

Like it...and I especially like putting Langford in that 4th round slot.
I dont believe we have a 6th round pick this year though.

Even though I think our OL needs are slightly greater than our DL needs, I just have a feeling that Kentwan balmer of UNC will be our 1st pick to play DE. There are a glut of tackles this year, several of whom can be had in the second round. I also believe a guard will be taken, perhaps in the third.

While I like the draft listed at the top of this thread I can't see us taking two tackles, a guard and a center in the same draft. I am trying to put together a scenario of my own but haven't finished up yet. Am thinking something along the lines of 1st - Balmer DE, 2nd Nicks OT, then a gaurd or corner depending on who's the BPA.

4 o-lineman would be too much in a draft since there is FA.. i say we draft 2-3 o-lineman and then other positions

Balmer is moving up the charts and Dallas is high on him, so I don't see us getting him since they pick before us.

If we get possibly the best, or close to the best, at each possition why not?

well we might be able to get the best and close to the best for the 1st 2 rds and thats prob it.. u can't ignore other pos, like d-line, lb and cb, maybe rb

IF jon stewart is still on the board i say go with stewart... BUT if stewart and otah/williams are both up left i say go with otah/williams...

im hopin we get a CB with some nickel coverage skills... somewhere in the first 4 rounds...

CB could potentially wait till next year because deshea is not using a cane just yet and next year's crop of DB's is exceptional... one of kind... like best that i've ever seen...

P.S. I hate that NFL.com guy... craziest fool out there..
