BOSTON -- Randy Moss is staying with the New England Patriots.

The defending AFC champions re-signed the record-breaking receiver on Monday to a three-year deal worth $27 million, his agent said. The signing was confirmed by the team shortly after Moss posted a message to fans on his Web site.

"I want to take time out to thank all of the fans for their support and for wishing me well in my return to New England," therealrandymoss.com quotes him as saying. "I'm ready to get back. We have some unfinished business to take care of."

Let me know how happy you are when he resorts back to the Randy Moss we've all come to know and well, the patriots*, love.

Pop Quiz: How many games into the 2008 season before Moss gets pissed off that he's not getting the ball?

Answer: 5

Great, you signed him for more than 1 year...so that means what? Old Randy now? The "Got my money" Randy? The "straight cash homey" Randy? Or the beat my long time female friend during the playoffs while I'm in Floriday Randy?

Enjoy, Giants taught the world, double Randy, Pressure Brady = 14 points. Enjoy that all year long my man.

No poison in the locker room thank you. Move along, Moss in NE, enjoy the season, lets see what happens when they lose a couple this year. I mean, he called out the "gameplan" after the SB loss, wonder how he'll react if they start off 3-3 or something like that.

15 more touchdowns...15 more than last year or 15 more compared to the year prior to Moss joining your team? Just wondering...I think I heard the over under for Moss is 16 this season. I take the over by 1.

Moss opens up the defense so even if he's not catching anything, he's still helping. An offense with last years Moss will have atleast 15 more TDs then an offense without him. Whether or not he actually catches them.

This years Patriots will be like the 2006 Saints. Awesome O and no D. And that's if the offense is that good.

I heard reports that Moss was pimping his services as a package deal with Culpepper. They were looking at a reunion tour for old time sake.

http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/reiss_pieces/2008/03/moss_reaches_ou.html

Culpepper has proven that he can throw TD's without having to be fed the opposing D's calls from the sideline.

If that's a shot against Brady then he threw 50 TDs this year under the untrusting supervision of the entire league. :coffee:

No, that was a shot at the fact that without video tape, the patriots* and brady are fruitless (at least on the football field).

Signing Randy Moss seems very much to me like owning a boat: The day you buy it is the greatest day of your life...and then the the day you SELL the boat becomes the greatest day of your life.

Diminishing returns and depreciation...Live it, learn it and love it pats fans!

SuperBowl Wins - How many does YOUR team have?
Steelers 5, 49ers 5, Cowboys 5, Redskins 3, Raiders 3, Packers 3, Giants 3, Patriots 3, Broncos 2, Dolphins 2, Colts 2, Bears 1, Ravens 1, Jets 1, Bucs 1, Rams 1, Chiefs 1

I like that....a lot!

He's only helping if he runs his routes and doesn't dog it. Once he gets tired of not being "the man" and starts to jog through his routes because he knows the play isn't going to him, or change them because he doesn't want to run them "that way", he will no longer open up anything except ill feelings in the locker room and with the fans............................... its the Moss MO.

Keep collecting your bulletin board material for coach Bellichik. He will be grateful come the start of the season. Every great organisation needs talented individuals that troll over the content of opposing teams bulletin boards to provide printed inspiration for the patriots players.

And you will be able to gloat on our board next year that you helped increase Randy's touchdown production.

Obviously, I have an ax to grind with Mr. Moss. Obviously, Mr. Moss played great, and with intensity for the Patriots last year. Obviously, Mr. Moss is one of the most talented WR's in the game today. Obviously, Patriots fans haven't experienced Mr. Moss in the same way that Vikings and Raiders fans have.................... yet.

Vikings and Raiders fans know all too well that.................. YOU WILL................ its just a matter of time.
