While I love his importance in the 3-4 base I believe he should be used more. I think it would help out our pass rush. Casey is impossible to block with just one blocker, meaning more attention would be draw to him. Making out blitz a tadd bit more effective against max protect. Just something to think about!

The Steelers have always pulled out the NT in 3rd downs, probably always will. They did it w/ Joel Steed and w/ Kimo when he was the NT for awhile. But your point is well taken, he's a monster and he always draws a double team.

he's a monster cause he played for the longhorns lol.
I would like to see Hoak and Hampton together ( in a 4-3) in limited situations.

I don't think Dick could size up with today's players... Chris though might be a good 4-3 change up against the Pats.

No doubt Casey is an animal, and he can`t be blocked by just one player, thats what makes our 3-4 defense that much better.

I mean what could it hurt? Teams are gameplanning for the blitz each and every week. So, leBeau is going to have to add a few different wrinkles to get teams thinking about something else.

Casey is in the top three most important people on our defense. We shouldn't be pulling him unless he is too damn tired or hurt.

Would Troy be number 1 on this list?
