If we get to the 23rd pick and don't really like any one that is still available, I think I would really like to see the Steelers trade out of the 1st round if we could find someone that would give ous an early 2nd and an early 3rd round. I think I would like a draft like this one.

Trevor Law: Good size and quickness, I think he could play DE for us or slide
inside if needed. Kid will not stop.

Earl Bennett: Liked this kid all year, will go inside, outside, or down feild. Good
hands, good speed, and one of the best blocking WRs in the
draft.

Duane Brown: Another kid I have been watching all year. Played LT and did a
good job, but I think, and I have read others that agree,
would make a very good OG.

Charles Godfrey: Likes to play man on man, but is at ease with zone coverage.
Good size for a CB and very quick.

Jeremy Zuttah: You want a RT, I think this could be you man.

Jeremy Thopmson: DE that will convert to OLB and I think do a great job.

Pierre Garcon: Somebody is going to get a very fine return man. it might as well
be us.

Again this is if we can't get 1st round value with the 23rd pick.

i think early 2nd and early third is too much for a first... no teams will probably do that...the raiders only traded a 2nd and sith for deangelo hall and he is a proven player. a 2nd and 3rd in the draft for a player who hasnt proved he can play inb the NFL? its unlikely someone will give us that much for our 1st round pick

I know that this is not an exact sience, but the value chart shows the 23rd pick worth 760 points. The 6th pick in the 2nd is worth 520 and the 6th pick in the 3rd is worth 240. Say after signing all these FAs the Jets decide that they just will not have room for all there picks, but have fallen in love with someone they could get at 23. It could happen.
Thats the trick, finding the right partner for the right trade. May happen, may not.
