Wow. I know some of you had been hoping to draft this guy. Terrible story. A promising young life gone
Jacksonville, FL (WLTX) - According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Newberry College lineman Heath Benedict was found dead in his Florida home.
Benedict, a transfer from Tennessee, just finished his college career last season, becoming the first player from Newberry College to compete in the Under Armour Senior Bowl.
He seemed to have a bright professional future ahead, though: some projections had the 25-year-old going early in next month's NFL draft.

That's too bad.
I was thinking that yesterday that maybe such a large guy had marfan(sp?) syndrome which is from an enlarged heart and gained some notoriety when USA volleyball team member Flo Hyman died of it.
Anyways, sorry for the loss.
