i am not sure if this topic has been posted before. i did a quick search and didn't notice a similar one.

my favorite would have to be "the longest yard". the one with burt reynolds, not that sad remake starring adam sandler.

I think it's pretty telling when an individual has to start their list with making a brash statement such as yours. And while others don't list it, doesn't mean it wasn't a good movie - you see that's the beautful thing about opinions, they don't have to agree.

Never saw semi-tough, I'll have to see if I can find it. The rest of those movies, I remember seeing hooper and smokey and the bandit in theaters, white lightning I remember the name and watching it but not the storyline, longest yard I remember watching on tv wth my dad, and well deliverance I never saw (thank God I was saved from "that scene" - LOL).

The Program is my favorite because of the hits and how it shows the corruption that exists in most college programs. Pretty sure the team was supposed to be based upon FSU.

I also enjoy the football game in MASH everytime I see it.

Remember the Titans is getting a lot of love in this Thread, and really, I didn't really enjoy that movie all that much. Sure that one scene when the D Coordinator goes off and tells his guys to Hit really hard and make sure they "Remember who we are" Is good, but over all, the movie was just kind of predictable and lame. It was a movie about Racism set against the back drop of Football.

The Program was Freaking Awesome. It was a movie about Football.
