I am going to Philly on a class trip. Basically we are allowed to do what ever we want from 10:00 AM in the till 5:00 PM.
If any one if familiar with the area can you give me a list of some cool places to visits.

I'd rather have in-school detention than go into Philly. No really.... :banging:
But... If you're dead set on visiting Philly, then there area few things you need to do.
1. Independence Hall. I took the kids a few years ago. It was an awe inspiring experience to think that I was was standing the same room where George Washington, Ben Franklin, etc... once stood and debated the documents that gave birth to our nation.
2. Constitution Center. Very cool if you're into history.
3. Liberty Bell.
4. Franklin Science Center. We used to have a family membership. Lots of neat stuff to see and do.
5. Penns Landing. I've never been there but I want to go someday... maybe.
The first 3 are all nice and close together. I highly recommend them.
Ohhhh one other one... You can tour the Mint. You can learn the history of US currency and watch new coin being minted. That was pretty damn cool actually. :jammin:
I hope this helped...
